BIO-BLOX

EasyPro produces it's own Bio-Blox media using this custom designed machine.

This polyester media is a great low-cost choice for large volume applications like waterfall filter boxes.  EasyPro grinds this media in-house, allowing us to offer very competitive pricing.

  • Approximately 500 square feet of surface area in every
    cubic foot of material; this allows for maximum filtration
    in a given area.

  • Polyester material will last for years.

  • Sold in one and ten cubic foot boxes or twenty five cubic foot gaylord box.

  • Also available in pre-filled mesh bags containing approximately two cubic feet.

  • Ideal for large biological filters! 

FILTER FLOSS BIO-MEDIA

EasyPro Filter Floss Bio-Media is ribbon type material commonly used in our Aquafalls pond filters in place of lava rock.  Filter Floss is a flat strapping that is embossed on both sides creating additional surface area for bacteria.  Filter Floss Media is lightweight, will last indefinitely and has no effect on water quality.  Pond builders installing our Aquafalls filters will find it easy to convince customers to upgrade to this media since each media bag in the filter will weigh only 4 lbs. instead of 40 lbs. if filled with lava rock!  This makes cleaning much easier!  Each box completely fills two mesh bags and contains approximately 4.5 cubic feet of material.

ULTRA BIO-MEDIA 

Ultra Bio-Media weighs approximately eight pounds per cubic foot. Media is sold and packaged by weight. Settling may occur in shipping. Ultra Bio-Media can be purchased by the cubic foot or bulk packed in 28 cubic foot Gaylord boxes.

BIO-BALLS

These plastic Bio-Balls are a great media for use in all types of filters.

  • Can be used as a loose media or put in mesh bags for easy removal and cleaning.
  • Will not compact like other soft media; reduces "channelizing of water around media.
  • 1½" in diameter, black in color.
  • Available in one cubic foot or 4.5 cubic foot box.

SOLIDS FILTER MATERIAL

Save money - cut your own filter pads!  A variety of bulk filter medias are available that can easily be cut to fit all popular brands of skimmers, pressure filters, waterfall filter boxes and pump pre-filters.

• PFM3-5 material is made from long lasting polyester - can be rinsed clean and reused
• Most commonly used as a solids filter material before water enters biological media
• For maximum savings buy full rolls and cut to length as needed

PFM1 • Lowest cost filter material • Blue and white material bonded together, very easy to cut • Average life - one season • Fairly dense - removes fine particles		PFM3 • 1" medium density, removes fine particles, cuts easily • Ideal for replacement media in small pumps and prefilters • Average life - two to three years
